23 Scariest Things Trump Has Ever Said

As Bette Midler points out, "Trump's former campaign chairman, two other campaign aides and his former national security advisers [are] now all charged with felonies."

President Donald Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleading guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations he had with a Russian official is an early Christmas gift for many Hollywood stars taking to Twitter to celebrate.

"It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas," tweeted actor Jeff Daniels, best known for "Dumb and Dumber" and "The Newsroom."

"SMILF" star Rosie O'Donnell, who slams Trump daily (if not hourly), declared Dec. 1, 2017 to be the "best day ever."

According to Flynn's guilty plea, he lied to investigators about calls he made last December to the senior Trump transition team at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort about conversations he had with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak involving Russian sanctions.

"I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and through my faith in God, I am working to set things right," Flynn said. "My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the special counsel's office reflect a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions."

Prior to Friday, Flynn maintained that that he did not collude with Russians either before or during the 2016 presidential election. He has now agreed to cooperate with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team to determine whether the president or his aides are guilty of doing the same and whether they attempted to cover up their efforts. Flynn is the first White House official to admit to having had discussions with Kislyak.

What's more, court docs revealed that Flynn was directed by a "very senior member" of the transition team, and Trump's lawyers believe the unnamed aide is Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner.

Alyssa Milano, Bette Midler and Ron Perlman were among other actors sharing their thoughts on the subject -- or simply celebrating. Even former FBI Director James Comey -- who was leading the investigation when he was fired by Trump -- is calling for "justice and righteousness." See how more Hollywood stars are reacting in the tweets below.

“But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” Amos 5:24

Legit question: What if we get airtight proof of Trump knowingly colluding with Russians and Congress doesn’t do anything about it? Is that a possibility?

It is being reported that no one in the White House was prepared for Flynn guilty plea.

I would like to add that no one in the White House is prepared or qualified...in general.

"One person close to the White House described the mood this way: "What they’re freaked out about is that there are no leaks. Papadopoulos didn’t leak. Flynn didn’t leak. They feel like they can’t trust anyone. Their own counsel didn’t know."" https://t.co/cXfPJUo6il

You think when Trump asked Comey to drop the investigation of Flynn, he worried Flynn might spill the beans about colluding with Russia and some of those beans might drop on his new, red presidential tie?

Can someone get @KellyannePolls on their show and see IF* she will offer alternative facts on this Flynn guilty plea? THANKS

— shannon sharpe (@ShannonSharpe) December 1, 2017

Everything Trump has said and done over the past week should be viewed in light of this guilty plea from Michael Flynn.

Trump is in a panic.

— Shaun King (@ShaunKing) December 1, 2017

Flynn was fired for lying to the White House, he was arrested for lying to the FBI. He'll make a real credible witness! #GeneralFlynn

— MARK SIMONE (@MarkSimoneNY) December 1, 2017

Lots of breathless talk about who ordered Flynn to 'contact Russia.' Less discussion of why that would be illegal. TV commentary just confidently repeating that it's all really, really bad.
