Jimmy Kimmel Celebrates Death of GOP Health Care Bill With Montage of Trump's Hypocrisy

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pulled the plug on the Graham-Cassidy bill Tuesday afternoon, and the comedian -- who's spent all week speaking out against it -- joked that he hasn't "been this happy about something being dead since bin Laden."

"On behalf of my family, especially my son Billy, I want to sincerely thank those of you who called your representatives, made your voices heard and got involved to help smother this," Kimmel said Tuesday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

As a result of the vote, President Donald Trump lashed out at Republican Senator John McCain for breaking with his party and standing up against Graham-Cassidy.

"A few of the many clips of John McCain talking about Repealing & Replacing O'Care," POTUS posted to Twitter. "My oh my has be changed - complete turn from years of talk!"

"The idea that Donald Trump would criticize anyone for changing his position is very rich," Kimmel said. "Donald Trump has more flip-flops than a Jimmy Buffet concert. No one contradicts themselves more."

In honor of the many times Trump has contradicted himself, Kimmel played a montage of clips of the president though the years, which included footage of Trump praising both Bill and Hillary Clinton, identifying as "more as a Democrat," claiming he's pro-choice and telling Larry King during an interview that he would "absolutely not lie."

"His memory is shorter than his fingers," Kimmel said with a laugh.

The ABC late-night host then ripped into Trump for calling McCain a disgrace.

"John McCain is at home fighting brain cancer right now," Kimmel said. "What's your brain's excuse?"
